Musafir

The product

Musafir is for friends and families on road trips. Add the car, the people and the stops, log what everyone spends, and the app does the rest on its own: it keeps every balance current, works out the settlement, and says in plain words who pays whom. It comes with Travel Azkar and Fiqh for the journey and a web portal for admins.

Highlights

• Hands-off settlement: every new expense recalculates shares, balances and the list of payments, with a shared pool-money mode.
• The database runs the rules itself: row-level security and guard triggers enforce who can change what, so the app cannot be talked into bad maths.
• Notifications and the audit log are produced by database triggers, and trips update live for every member through Supabase Realtime.
• One-tap trip summary as a PDF or image, ready to share in the group chat.
• Admin web portal from the same Flutter codebase: users, trips, expenses, Azkar and Fiqh content, reports and audit.

Status and next steps

In testing. Feature-complete, being hardened before launch. Planned, not built yet: an AI layer on top of the automation, with receipt scanning into expenses, plain-language expense entry and a trip budget forecast. Before that, push delivery through Firebase and a store release.
